The 2009 Honda Odyssey comes in four trim levels – LX, EX, EX-L and Touring. The 2009 Odyssey gets a 3.5-liter i-VTEC V6 engine and Variable Cylinder Management that deliver 244-horsepower and 245 pound-feet of torque. The 2009 Odyssey LX and EX are powered by VTEC V6 engine and retain the same rating as 2008 at 244 horsepower and 240 pound-feet of torque. A 5-speed automatic transmission is standard. The 2009 Odyssey runs on unleaded fuel and qualifies CARB ULEV-2 emissions rating.
Estimated fuel economy of the 2009 Honda Odyssey LX and EX is 16/23 mpg (City/Highway) and that of EX-L and Touring trims is 17/25 mpg (City/Highway).
