July 01, 2009 - Join Helping Hands Forever for a Moroccan Night of Luxury, on Friday July 17th, 2009 from 7-10pm at The Shrine, located at 2109 S. Wabash St., Chicago, IL 60616. The evening will include an abundant spread of delectable food from Mai Chef Cuisine, an Open Bar and Specialty Drink, Irresistible Silent Auction Items, and Music Spun by Corey Sanford.
The night will also showcase a special fashion show, featuring designs from MGO Fashions and Isabella Designs. Modeling the designs will be powerhouse women including Susanna Negovan from Michigan Avenue Magazine, Elena Sotomayer, VP of CNM, and Lauren Mitrick, President of WCR.
Proceeds will benefit Connections for Abused Women and Their Children (CAWC), an organization committed to ending domestic violence. CAWC provides a shelter for women and children, along with counseling, advocacy, and a 24-hour hotline for people affected by domestic violence. “I am so pleased to be able to help raise awareness and funding for CAWC through my new company, Helping Hands Forever,” said Jenny Sepulveda, founder of Helping Hands Forever. Throughout the history of the organization, CAWC has relied on the support on loyal volunteers and donors, and none of their accomplishments would be possible without the help of the community.
