June 16, 2009 - Harris will demonstrate Punctuate™, the first traffic and sales system for digital signage, alongside the next-generation InfoCaster™ digital signage solution, providing a complete system for content creation, network management and media playout, including multi-screened synchronized content. The combination of InfoCaster and Punctuate allows businesses to operate profitable, scalable digital signage networks and leverage new opportunities to generate revenue.
Harris is also a major sponsor of the Digital Signage Application Showcase (Booth #2389), which will simulate multiple ways of using digital signage in today's business world. At the showcase, Harris will demonstrate a healthcare network solution featuring InfoCaster, which will show how a digital signage network can provide a higher level of service to hospital patients, visitors, medical staff and administrators.
On June 17 and 18 at 4 p.m. at the Harris booth, digital signage authority and InfoComm Academy Faculty member Lyle Bunn will provide an in-depth look at digital signage plans at two state-of-the-art venues — the Tampa Bay Performing Arts Center and the Orlando Magic's new arena — including the deployment process, business objectives, supplier selection, technology, content, funding and what lies ahead.
"InfoComm and Harris Digital Signage™ are a natural marriage, given the show's central positioning in advancing the practices of media presentation," said Harris Morris, vice president and general manager, Media and Workflow for Harris Broadcast Communications. "As market demand explodes, InfoComm members, including systems integrators and dealers, are well suited to be a primary supply channel for a highly scalable system with TCP/IP architecture that provides fast creation, scheduling and delivery of content to visual displays resulting in new revenue."
Morris will speak about monetizing digital signage businesses through advanced traffic and billing at the Digital Signage Luncheon on Friday, June 19. Hosted by Lyle Bunn, the luncheon will focus on market directions and how to generate new revenue opportunities with digital signage deployments.
