April 21, 2009 - Haier America, a leading manufacturer of home appliances and electronics, has expanded the NuCool small refrigerator line with a 2.8 cu. ft. unit that is available at Target.
The larger unit includes a new door design with virtual stainless steel brushed finish. NuCool technology combines the best features of current cooling systems to create a brand new technology that achieves temperatures as low as 37F (based on 70F ambient room temp), which was not possible with prior refrigerant-free models.
NuCool has no compressor and runs whisper quiet while also achieving low power consumption. NuCool provides an environmentally friendly technology in small refrigerators that consumers find so useful for apartments, dorms, bars and other small areas.
