Representing the finest in Contemporary Glass Art from around the world. Established in 1971, Habatat Galleries is the oldest and largest gallery devoted to art glass in the United States. We represent artists such as Dale Chihuly, William Morris, Stanislaw Libensky, Mark Peiser, Marvin Lipofsky, Thomas Patti, Ginny Ruffner among many others.
This is the exhibitions 40th anniversary! Over 100 artists from over 20 different countries. Art Glass is considered a young art form. 40 years ago these same artist made vessels and now these vessels have morphed into sculpture as a Craft became an Art. This is going to be an incredible exhibition which opens April 28th 8pm. 2012.
