Gyrowash 815/20: A Feature-Packed And Extremely Price Competitive AATCC Testing Instrument

James H. Heal & Co. Ltd. are happy to announce the global launch of Gyrowash 815/20, an official AATCC testing instrument for evaluating the colour fastness, staining potential and durability of fabrics under accelerated wash conditions, according to AATCC Test Method 61.

(1888PressRelease) February 21, 2008 - Gyrowash 815/20 also complies with ISO 105 and conforms to the requirements of major European Retail Store Groups, including Marks and Spencer and Next.

The instrument’s horizontal rotor can hold five test vessels on each of the four sides thus having a maximum capacity of 20 large (1200ml) or 20 small (500ml) vessels, or a combination of large and small. This makes it possible to use one machine for both European and American standards.

Unlike the vessels of most other washwheels, no conversion parts or securing bars are required for fixing them on the rotor. Instead, all our test vessels incorporate a Push and Twist feature, which enables the operator to effortlessly and rapidly remove and replace them on the rotor.

Drawing on a wealth of technical expertise and knowledge, the James H. Heal team of engineers have built a robust and durable instrument intended for continuous use in a wet environment. The machine and the test vessels are manufactured from high-grade stainless steel while the vessel seals are solvent, chlorine-resistant and are suitable for all types of testing.

To ensure that testing can commence upon receipt of the instrument, a comprehensive range of Heal’s Quality Assured Consumables are also on offer; from non-corrodible steel balls to Heal’s Multifibre and Detergents.

The combination of uncompromising build quality, a thoughtfully designed user-interface and the reassurance of the AATCC seal of approval, is proving irresistible to testing professionals all over the world.
