August 01, 2008 - For 75 years, the family-run company GUTEX Holzfaserplattenwerk (Composite Wood Boards), based in the Black Forest region of Germany, been producing wood insulation boards at its location in the town of Waldshut-Tiengen, in the southern part of the Black Forest. The company focuses on fields including the development of technically advanced, ecologically compatible modern insulation materials and heat insulation compounds as well as further development of its existing product lines. With its innovative new dry process, GUTEX is setting new standards in production technology and product quality. GUTEX is the only producer worldwide to be able to manufacture single-layer wood insulation boards at thicknesses of up to 240 mm. The company is switching from an individual solution to abas ERP. The ERP project will be implemented and supported by ‘ABAS Projektierung’ in Freiburg, Germany.
