Griffith And Company Preparing For Recording Debut National Debut

Sylacauga, AL Group Lands Major Booking and Management Deal in Nashville. First national recordining scheduled for release in March, 2008.

Tuscaloosa, AL (1888PressRelease) February 21, 2008 - Nashville talent agency Century2 Entertainment is pleased to announce the signing of Griffith and Company to its roster. Century2 Entertainment, one of Nashville’s most prestigious entertainment firms, added Griffith and Company in anticipation of the group’s up coming single release, “Tell It All”. According to Century2 Entertainment president, Marty Lyon, the single is set for release in March of 2008 and will be distributed to Southern-Gospel and Christian-Country radio, satellite, cable and internet broadcasters around the globe.

Griffith and Company also recently entered into an exclusive management and promotion agreement with the Rick Hendrix Company. The client list for The Rick Hendrix Company, like Century2 Entertainment, reads like a regular “Who’s Who” in Christian and family entertainment including names like George Strait, The Hoppers, Michael English, Alan Jackson, Josh Turner, Sarah Evans, Vince Gill and host of other world class performers. Griffith and Company are simply elated to be in the company of such great artist and looking forward to the possibility of touring with some of them.

Griffith and Company are based out of Sylacauga, AL. The group, a trio, is made of Tony Griffith, his sister Missy, and Julie Greatorex. All three of the group’s members have traveled in the past with their respective family groups since childhood and are no strangers to performing and living life on the road. Tony and Missy Griffith grew up as part of the popular family singing group "The Griffith Family". In December of 2006 the group’s matriarch, Carolyn Griffith, passed away and the group was faced with the distinct possibility of dissolving. However, in honor of their Mother’s hard work and dedication, Tony and Missy agreed that they would carry on the legacy but that they would retire the name “The Griffith Family”. Additionally, they each felt that the timing was right to take the group to the next level and go on the road full time, so the siblings determined to proceed as “Griffith and Company”. Griffith and Company recorded their debut album in Nashville at the world famous Trinity Music City Recording Studio in 2007. TMC studio, an active part of the Trinity Broadcasting Network (TBN) family, has played host to some of the top Christian artists in the world. TMC is noted as one of Nashville’s premier recording facilities.

The single “Tell It All”, by Griffith and Company has been pre-released into several internet markets and has to date received nearly 100,000 plays on the popular web based social network, MySpace. It is expected to be a chart rocket so the group is presently booking live appearances and radio promotion stops in anticipation of the record’s success.
