September 20, 2007 - On August 27th, 28th, and 29th, 2007, Gospel Music Enthusiasts from all over the United States and Canada gathered at the Grand Resort Hotel and Convention Center in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, to be enthralled with music from many of Gospel Music’s most acclaimed artists.
An annual tradition for many people, who make this the highlight of their summer vacation, the Grand Resort Hotel and Convention Center, for the 11th straight year, has proudly opened its doors for this exciting 3 day event. With talented performers such as the Dixie Echoes, Tim Lovelace, Michael Combs, LaVerne and Edith Tripp, Triumphant, the Dove Brothers and many, many more, it came as no surprise to staff members that the 11th Annual World Premiere Gospel Concert attracted the attention of a diverse audience, both young and old - many arriving early to anxiously await the concert to begin.
Amid this year’s audience, the presence of spiritual passion was absolutely undeniable as guests listened to the word of Jesus Christ relayed through these talented Gospel Music artists. During these multiple-artist performances, there were several standing ovations and many hearts were touched – made evident by the glitter of teary eyes and a wonderful sense of “belonging” for those attending. Staff members, who worked this event for the first time, after being involved with such a wonderful event, are already anxiously looking forward to the 12th Annual World Premiere Gospel Concert which will take place at the Grand Resort Hotel and Convention Center in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, on August 25th, 26th, and 27th, 2008.
