November 01, 2009 - Heather Mickelson with GoMobile Commerce, the US Leader of Wireless Payment Solutions, presented at the Western States Acquirers Show in Anaheim CA, October, 2009. This meeting focuses on PCI compliance and the future of wireless payments.
“The United States is ready for a wireless payment solution, that’s our economy’s future, just how Europe was five years ago,” said Heather Mickelson, owner of GoMobile Commerce. “We are positioned to meet the needs.”
With the economy in the decline, the new businesses that are emerging in our economy will be mobile based businesses.
“Everyone is online. The idea of hooking up your credit card machine to a phone line is obsolete and old, everything is internet based. There is no company better positioned for the turn in our economy, wireless is inevitable.” Mickelson continued, “Manufacturers, worldwide, who are entering the US Marketplace for wireless are contacting us first. They’ve been around for 10+ years and now want to enter the U.S. We are on the cutting edge of the wireless movement that is hitting us now.”
Other speakers included Adam McArthur, CEO of Card Payment International on the younger market going wireless, “Everything is wireless. Everything is online. If a college kid could get a haircut online, they would. ” And business owners are quick to catch on.
