August 18, 2007 - Have you ever heard that golf is good for business?
If you or your staff are networking at the Chamber of Commerce, BNI, Le Tip or other Leads Clubs, then you'll want to learn more about how golf networking is now an option.
FORE Networking launched in the summer of '07 and within such a short period of time now has 4 different chapters meeting regularly in Orange County. It's commonly known that golf networking in more subtle forms can help someone's sales and business, but this is the first time it's packaged in a networking environment that meets in short 2 hour meetings.
FORE Networking members meet within their chapter with limited industries which is very similar to a leads club. However, after an hour of breakfast (or lunch), members head out to the driving range to practice golf with an instructor.
Business networking has never been more fun. Members join because it's an opportunity to practice golf while working on their business. They don't have to go to the range after work, which is a time they'd like to get home to family. Also, members build great relationships. Meetings are structured and allow for plenty of networking time. After all, people send referrals and do business with people they like.
Interest lists are forming nationwide for chapters across the country. Interested participants should register online at www.FOREnetworking.com so a notification can be sent when a chapter is formed in that area.
