February 22, 2007 - Washington, DC – February 22, 2007 – GoIsIn.com (www.goisin.com) today announces the public launch of their Web site allowing a free and easy-to-use way to save pictures, texts and videos from a mobile phone.
"We really wanted to streamline the process to get items from a mobile phone to the Internet and then to save or share those items with friends," said Andrew Saxe, Founder and Chief Executive Officer. "Using GoIsIn is as simple as sending an e-mail or a text message. We removed all the extra steps and extra software and created a system that anyone can use."
GoIsIn is free to use and does not require software to install or extra data plans from phone service providers. Users setup a private GoIsIn.com e-mail address then send messages to that private account from their phone or e-mail program. Minutes later those messages will appear in the user's account to be organized and shared with friends. GoIsIn captures all the information that can be sent from a mobile phone—pictures, text, and video.
"Everyone has taken a great random snapshot with their camera phone that they’d like to share with friends. GoIsIn makes it easy to do this and users can see the picture on a big screen rather than on a small cell phone screen," added Andrew Saxe. GoIsIn also provides tools to upload files from a computer as well as include GoIsIn posts on other Web sites such as MySpace, Friendster, and Blogger.
The GoIsIn.com Web site has just launched, but new tools and enhancements are already planned for introduction in the coming weeks.
GoIsIn plans to be the simple source for managing content from mobile phones.
