Lauren Grunstein and Stephanie Gurtman founded Gigi Girls, Inc. in 2007 to create InternshipRatings.com. After meeting at Boston University's College of Communication, Lauren and Stephanie went through the process of selecting their summer internships together. At the end of their terms, the two realized their experiences were the exact opposite of their expectations. They agreed students need an online resource to rate and compare internships. In its seventh month, InternshipRatings.com has already amassed more than 200 company ratings and 400 members.
