December 17, 2008 - DITTON PARK, UK – CA (NASDAQ:CA) today announced that Guernsey-based Generali Worldwide Group, an employee-benefit based insurance service provider, has implemented CA’s XOsoft High Availability and XOsoft Assured Recovery solutions to reduce email recovery time to less than 10 minutes and maintain a high level of system availability.
The implementation by Generali means that it can provide enhanced customer service, slash email downtime and improve productivity by switching to a replicated email and data server in minutes.
Redstor, a Managed Storage Services and Solutions company provided the initial advice on the benefits of CA XOsoft and helped with some of the initial training assistance and knowledge transfer on a webex for Generali.
Generali opted for CA’s solutions over competitor products because of distinctive features, such as rapid failover and restore capabilities, as well as CA’s flexible licensing approach and exceptional customer service.
