The Optimum Health and Healing Network
The Network is a membership organization designed to serve both alternative healthcare Seekers and Providers
As with most other healthcare providers, our primary mission is to help bring an end to suffering. One of the greatest obstacles to accomplishing this mission is the practice of medicine itself. It is our belief that Western medicine has lost it heart and soul.
One clear sign of this is that the word “medicine” (which in Latin means the art of healing) has become synonymous with taking a chemical substance – as if this were the only true path to healing. With such a limited mindset, this honorable profession has allowed itself to be taken over by the billion-dollar pharmaceutical industry, the insurance industry and other related businesses.
In short, modern medicine has become Big Business and has lost sight of its sworn oath – to first do no harm. Depending on whose statistics you rely on, Western Medicine is now the first, the second or the third leading cause of death in this country.
Our goal is to change the face of healthcare forever. We will accomplish this, not by shouting about the shortcomings of Western medicine, but by providing an alternative. Our goal is to bring the heart and soul back into medical practice. We plan to accomplish this by bringing together alternative healthcare seekers and alternative/holistic providers in a membership organization that is devoted to creating optimum health and healing. |
