Gautam Buddha University, Greater Noida, invites applications for the 2009-2010 session of MBA, M. Tech (Biotechnology) and M.Tech (Information and communication Technology). Gautam Buddha University has been specially set up by the Government of Uttar Pradesh to promote value-based education, research and training and has established three Schools to begin with: School of Management, School of Biotechnology, and School of Information & Communication Technology.
The School of Management with specialisation in Finance, Human Resource Management, Strategic Management, Marketing and Retail Management, and Operations Management, commenced its first batch of MBA in August 2008 with 120 students. From predominantly teaching in the beginning, Gautam Buddha University plans to move to create an Integrated Management School, which devotes adequate resources on creating new knowledge and influence practices. With this view the School commences its first batch of Doctoral degree programme from August 2009. The curriculum of all its academic programs/activities has international and cross cultural focus.
The School of Bio-Technology offers M. Tech. in Biotechnology. The course intends to impart both basic and advanced knowledge of biological systems and the technological competence to allow students to carry out research and development activities in numerous fields of biotechnology, especially in medical and pharmaceutical sectors. The aim of this programme is to bridge the gap between industry requirements and the growing demand for skilled manpower in the biotechnology sector. On offer are 60 seats.
The School of Information and Communication Technology offers M. Tech. in ICT for the academic session 2009-10. This is a unique program that combines essentials of Information and Communication Technology and the current trends and practices in the industry. The duration of the course will be three and half years for Science graduates and two years for students with B. Tech. Degree.
The admission is through a written test (Graduate Proficiency Test - GPT) which will be conducted at 5 centres across the country (Noida, Delhi, Lucknow, Ranchi & Bangalore), followed by personal interview.

1) Course offered : MBA ( Specialisation in HR, Finance, Marketing, IT, Retail, Operations, Strategy, Insurance, etc.)
Number of seats offered: 120 seats
Fees : Rs. 2,10, 000 academic fee per academic session + Rs. 30, 000 hostel charges per academic session + Rs. 10, 000 registration fee at the time of admission
Eligibility: Three year degree course from a University established by law, securing minimum 50% (40% for SC/ST) marks in aggregate)

Fees: Rs. 60, 000 academic fee per academic session + Rs. 30, 000 hostel charges per academic session + Rs. 10, 000 registration fee at the time of admission
Eligibility: Three year degree course in Science/Agriculture Sciences/Veterinary Sciences from a University established by law securing minimum 55% (45% for SC/ST) marks in aggregate and essentially having biology at 10+2 level.

Eligibility: Three year degree course in Science with Mathematics from a University established by law, securing minimum 55% (45% for SC/ST) marks in aggregate

About Gautam Buddha University
Gautam Buddha University, established by the UP Act 2002 (9), commenced its first academic session in August 2008.
