For the past year, Smith has appeared as a guest expert on susanireland.com, answering questions from moms seeking to return to the workforce. More recently she has enlisted as a Career Coach on F4K.com the Future for Kids website.
Susanireland.com is a resume and cover letter help site. Smith answers job seekers’ questions and provides useful advice for preparing oneself for the job search, interview and reentry. For almost five years Smith has gained first hand experience working with stay-at-home moms reentering the work force thru part-time employment. Many of whom have been placed by
Smith’s company Smart Moms.
Future for Kids provides resources and coaching for students to help them explore careers and at the same time aim to develop a future workforce for communities. Smith answers entrepreneurial questions from students. Her experience as an entrepreneur enables her to provide practical advice to students about the many facets of entrepreneurship.
