Led by Executive Partner Roberto Arena, the Firm's Tax team advises clients on all aspects of tax planning, transfer pricing, administrative representation and litigation, fiscal audits and legal opinions. The publication described Mr. Arena as having "great knowledge of tax matters" and noted that he frequently acts in conjunction with "very able" Partner Fernando Camarena.

The Insurance team and Competition and Antitrust team, both led by Partner Marco Nájera, likewise received high marks from the publication. The Competition and Antitrust team was described as having a "substantial trajectory in competition work, particularly on the merger filings side," and the Insurance team was recognized for handling contentious matters. The publication also noted that Mr. Nájera is "a recognized and capable market player."

"Gardere Arena's consistent recognition in The Legal 500 Latin America is a tribute to our team of talented, business-savvy lawyers and demonstrates their outstanding capabilities across many areas of practice," says Gardere Chair Holland N.
