This reader provides a number of highly useful features and benefits such as a built-in Ethernet RJ45 interface and Web server capability that allows the user to modify a variety of configuration options via a Web browser interface. The Gen 2 reader has a special initialization feature which can be used to initialize any un-initialized Gen2 tags in the market. This useful reader makes it easy for small and medium size business to handle anything from meeting government mandates to investigating the potential of RFID labeling for the supply chain. In addition, developers will find the RFID reader/writer an excellent tool to aid in testing and validating applications, and it is an easy way to develop their own projects based on the SDK which ships for free with the product.
