April 27, 2009 - Toronto, Canada - GAO RFID Inc. has released its multi-functional UHF RFID Reader, (GAO227003) which is an intelligent, long-range interrogator offering highly accurate, real-time data collection. This well-designed reader provides optimum performance for collecting, managing, and transferring information.
This multi-tag compatibleility RFID reader accurately communicates with a large number of RFID tags in a read range of up to 300 feet by applying an anti-collision algorithm. Four simultaneously activating antennas effectively receive signals from tags that allows for fast and reliable identification. An internal real-time clock provides precise time stamps for data. Up to 2,000 messages can be stored without data loss. It offers four digital inputs and four relay outputs to ensure an efficient operation for external process synchronization and control.
The RFID reader provides remote management of hardware and software from a centralized location for web Web based maintenance. It also provides wide range wake-up capability for tags while moving at high speed and for special tag localization tasks with an additional transmitssion-only antenna.
