May 22, 2008 - The Gen 2 Reader supports frequencies from 860MHz through 960MHz. It includes a RF module, internal digital signal processor, input/output ports, serial communication port and USB interface. The Built-In supports RS-232, RS-485, Wiegand and USB communications interfaces.
The Built-In is a multi-protocol reader/writer that supports ISO18000-6B, EPC Class 1, and EPC Class 1 GEN2 standards. Read distance is 4 meters depending on the tag and surrounding environment.
