This analyzer is used for testing and locating line faults in all kinds of cable such as POTS or xDSL.
GAO's 5221 xDSL subscriber loop Analyzer features manual or auto TDR test, a large LCD graphic display for test results, and AC/DC or internal battery power supply. This analyzer can also serve as a digital multi-meter (DMM), and its test suite makes this instrument an excellent choice for service creation, daily maintenance and troubleshooting.
GAO's 5221 xDSL subscriber loop Analyzer provides the following main features:
Measures line cables using the single-ended test method
Tests VAC/VDC of copper twisted pair cable, resistance, AC/DC current, capacitance, frequency response, noise, DMT, and load coils
Reports the maximum achievable bit rate that a local loop can support without the need of an xDSL modem
Easily locates bridge taps, shorts, opens, and other line impairments
