November 06, 2008 - GAO Tek Inc. (www.GAOTek.com) announces the release of its Digital Signal Level Meter (GAO 3112A). This portable meter is designed to provide many beneficial features that are widely used and favored by professionals in the CATV instrument industry. It offers fast and accurate measurement of CATV signals.
GAO’s portable meter allows simple operation for auto-detection and level measurements of digital or analog broadcast signals. The self-calibrating instrument automatically compensates for measurement variations due to frequency response, temperature changes and internal attenuator settings. In addition, the meter is suitable for testing of QAM, MER, BER and analog TV’s all-round performance index. It is also a good choice for the maintenance of digital, analog or bilateral network.
GAO’s Digital Signal Level Meter provides the following features:
• Quadrature Amplitude Modulation (QAM) mode
• Frequency range: 5MHz to 860MHzDigital Signal Index: the digital signal power and power/Hz QPSK signal power can be measured.
• Analog Signal Function: Analog channel analysis level, V/A, C/N, TILT, spectrum, TV picture and measurement result are shown at the same screen.
• Channel number and frequency number of usual use can be saved via its memory function.
• Reverse transmission signal can be measured.
• Automatic power-off is time selectable to save on battery power consumption.
