April 26, 2008 - Toronto, ON – GAO Instruments Inc. has released a new GAO2300 USB PC Based Oscilloscope. It is an intelligent 8-bit two-channel PC based USB digital storage oscilloscope with high performance. It runs on any USB1.1 or USB2.0 equipped PC using Windows 98/ 2000/ XP. It connects to your PC with the included USB cable for both data transfer and power, so no external power supply is needed. It has up to 100 Ms/s real-time sampling rate and 50MHz bandwidth.
This PC based scope is controlled through a point-and-click Windows software interface. It is an ideal multi-instrument solution which combines the functions of logic analyzer, spectrum analyzer, waveform recorder, signal generator, ohmmeter, voltmeter, etc. all in a single interface.
The device is delivered including two probes and one USB cable, enabling you to start right away. This would be a lightweight, handheld device that is ideal for engineers, students and anyone looking for an easy-to-use, low-cost and powerful oscilloscope.
