FutureWorks PR Kicked Off The Holiday Season By Co-Sponsoring Digital Family Reunion

Unique SoCal event brought together Web 1.0 and 2.0 luminaries – for an amazing evening of synergy, inspiration, and holiday cheer.


(1888PressRelease) December 16, 2008 - Sunnyvale, Calif. –– FutureWorks PR, the social media strategy and PR company, helped bring together the pioneers from Web 1.0 and the catalysts for Web 2.0 at the Digital Family Reunion (DFR) held December 11 at LA’s Skirball Cultural Center. FutureWorks was a key sponsor of the event, while FutureWorks’ principal and social media pioneer Brian Solis served as an advisor.

The unique networking event created the optimum conditions for 1.0 and 2.0 synergy – starting conversations, reigniting old relationships and sparking new ones. Attendees included leaders from all major industry sectors, such as media, entertainment, finance, publishing, venture funding, software, commerce, and education.

The Digital Family Reunion was held December 11th from 5:00 pm to 10:00 pm. The evening included a town hall meeting forecasting 2009, a conversation with Alan Bushnell, the recipient of the DFR “Outstanding Achievement Honor,” as well as showcase tables from over 25 technology associations and networking groups.
