January 01, 2009 - New Year's Eve has always been a time for looking back to the past and forward to the future, with many reflecting on their achievements and setting their goals for the coming year. “Getting Organized” and “Enjoying Life More” are often among the most common New Year’s resolutions, and in conjunction with Get Organized Month, Fully Organized is helping to make these goals and resolutions a reality for clients in South Florida.
Just in time for the New Year, the National Association of Professional Organizers (NAPO®) is doing its part to help people discover stress-free living in 2009. NAPO is sponsoring its fifth annual Get Organized Month in January. Get Organized Month is a national industry-wide event aimed at raising awareness of the benefits of getting organized.
Of 400 adults polled in a November survey conducted on behalf of NAPO, 71 percent said their quality of life would improve if they were better organized. Overall, 96 percent said they could save time every day by becoming more organized at home.
1. Of those, 15 percent felt they could save more than an hour each day -- for a total of more than 15 days per year.
2. Of those, 30 percent felt they could save at least 30 minutes each day -- or more than an entire week per year.
