November 02, 2009 - GAO Instruments offer its upgraded E1/Datacom tester,a full-featured test device intended for digital transmission systems and for the installation,acceptance testing and daily maintenance of digital networks.The E1/Datacom tester performs channel testing, alarm analysis,signal analysis and fault location and provides various protocol converters with one-way and bi-directional bit-error-rate (BER) test functions.It is ideal for field use with its various practical functions and reliable performance.
This portable E1/Datacom tester, model, offers in-service framed and unframed testing, CAS and CCS signaling generation and monitoring, and extensive error and alarm generation, detection and indication.It saves and recalls ten user-defined setups and ten sets of results, which can be uploaded and printed via Test Manager Software.The enhanced tester features a handheld, rugged design;simple operation and a high resolution backlight LCD.It works continuously for up to six hours on a single charge with built-in rechargeable batteries and can be charged via a battery adapter. The Datacom tester’s embedded software has the ability to upgrade to the latest version via an integrated RS232C interface.
