Fuelstart.com launches Fuelcharts to help homeowners track energy usage

Fuelstart.com latest release helps homeowners monitor energy usage via the internet.

Boston, MA-NH (1888PressRelease) July 23, 2009 - Fuelstart.com, an online resource for home energy recently launched Fuelcharts http://www.fuelcharts.com, a portal for homeowners to monitor their energy usage using the internet. This program allows for homeowners to track, chart, and set up reminders for all of their home energy needs. Having this information online will allow homeowners to understand where their money is being spent, and give them the ability to compare usage from year to year.

Originally founded in February 2008 as a search engine for home fuels, Fuelstart.com has steadily increased its online offering by adding new energy resources for homeowners and businesses. Tools for homeowners include a search for energy companies and prices, email alerts when prices change and forums where they can ask/answer energy related questions. The release of Fuelcharts fits with the company philosophy of allowing consumers to make informed decisions concerning home energy usage.

“Since day one, we had a vision for Fuelstart.com to be the hub for consumers to go to when making energy related decisions. With the website, they can find an energy company in their area, contact them via the website, update the website with the price they paid, and now they can enter their purchase into Fuelcharts to help them monitor their usage and purchases over the long term. We envision Fuelcharts to be most useful for those consumers who plan on increasing efficiency in their homes… Fuelcharts can show them results,” says Giancarlo Vivenzio Cofounder of Fuelstart.com.

While the first version of Fuelcharts is available for consumers, Fuelstart envisions that as consumers use the program, improvements will be made based on consumer suggestions. Regardless, of the economic conditions Fuelstart is committed to offer free online resources to help homeowners and energy companies save money.
