Fresno, CA (1888PressRelease)
June 16, 2007 - Fresno Hardscapes specializes in installation of driveways, patio's, walkways and courtyards in interlocking pavers. While many homeowners in the Fresno area are familiar with stamped concrete they are just now becoming aware of interlocking pavers as a far superior product over both standard concrete or stamped concrete.
Mike, an installer with Fresno Hardscapes explains that concrete pavers have a much higher compressive strength than concrete of between 7000 - 8000 PSI as compared to 2500 - 3000 PSI. Also, and perhaps one of the more important factors is pavers are installed over a sub-base which is a soil stabilizer that also assists with water and erosion control.
Homeowners seem to appreciate that interlocking pavers can be "changed out" if ever needed which is not possible with concrete. Also stamped concrete is very subject to telegraphing of underlying stress cracks in concrete and can not generally be repaired. While Interlocking Pavers have long been in very high demand on the East coast, it seems that they are also making inroads in Central California.
Fresno Hardscapes also installs Cultured Stone and Landscape Curbing.
