(1888PressRelease)
July 26, 2008 - As you may recall, in January we launched our new FEP product line. FEP (Fluorinated Ethylene Propylene) compares to DuPont’s Teflon® brand polymer. This FEP material is an excellent value while providing virtually all of the types of resistances and compliances that are common in the fluid power industry. We have had a highly successful launch of the FEP line, exceeding all of our expectations. At the same time, we have seen demand for our existing line of Kynar® tubing decline. Kynar and FEP have similar properties. In light of this, we are announcing the discontinuation of our Kynar tubing product line. Orders will be filled while our Kynar resin supplies last.
