September 29, 2009 - taxCAMP has been designed to educate the general tax payers on various aspects of income tax. The format will use easy-to-understand language keeping in view the general tax payers needs.
The agenda will be as follows:-
1. Present detailed information about a particular topic of income tax
2. Educate tax payers about various developments/ changes in income tax
3. Apprise them about the processes for tax return preparation, filing (normal and efiling), tax refunds etc.
4. Clear many misconceptions, myths and doubts they may have on topics related to income tax
5. Question - Answer session to help answer/ address their concerns/ queries
This is a unique initiative by any company and such a camp is being planned for the First time in India. eLagaan has also discussed the same with Income Tax Department and the department has shown eagerness to attend the same and promised to support.
The agenda for October edition is "Keep More of Your Salary & Save On Taxes"
