January 03, 2007 - I would like to extend an invitation to families with young children in eastern Monmouth County to plan a FREE DEMO PARTY. If you have a play group, or a mommies club, twins club, or other type of get-together, or if you have friends in the neighborhood with children, you may host a FREE demo class at your house; or we can set up a time at one of our participating studios. This single 45-minute class is free, with a max of 14 children with parents. Each "Music for Aardvarks" class is filled with musical fun and both children and parents share their experiences beyond the class. Miss Melissa's Aardvarks is an original program for parents and their little ones, 6 months to 5 years old. Sing, dance, and jam to original contemporary music for your urban-suburban tot. Each 45-minute class is packed with tools such as shakers, bells, parachutes, balls, and drums to encourage musical development. As we sing, dance, and rock, parents play a huge part in their tots class experience and growth. Role modeling and participation are just a few ways to bond and help them grow musically and socially. A "Music for Aardvark's" CD is provided as a part of each registered 10-week program. Melissa and her guitar are ready to lead the class into a new generation of children's music programs!
