March 28, 2008 - Henry Bentley, publisher of the site www.freebeerbuddy.com, enthusiastically announced the move by noting Peter's extensive writing background. "Peter has been writing about the beer industry since 1984. He's written for publications such as Restaurant Management and Top Shelf Magazine, in addition to publishing his own books. He was honored by the North American Guild of Beer Writers with the silver Quill & Tankard award for Feature Writing/Food at the 1999 Great American Beer Festival, and he serves as source for journalists covering the industry."
Peter is also the publisher of his own site called Beer Basics after his first book, which was published in July 1995. So far, Peter has contributed seven blogs on Free Beer Buddy covering such topics as A Beer Writer's Vocabulary, Wheat Beer - From Bottle to Glass, and What Pushed Busch over the Barrel?
"Many writers want to talk about what goes in beer, or how it is brewed," continued Henry, "But Peter really tells you how to enjoy beer, how to select beer, and what is really going on in the beer industry. It's just fantastic!"
Peter's current book is Cooking & Eating with BEER. The book includes input from 50 Chefs, Brewmasters and Restaurateurs who talk about beer and food. Signed copies of the limited edition book are available on Free Beer Buddy with free shipping on all domestic orders.
