These 10G XFP transceivers are a hot-swappable, protocol-independent devices typically operating at 850nm. They are designed for 10 Gigabit per second SONET/SDH, Fibre Channel, gigabit Ethernet, 10 gigabit Ethernet and other applications like DWDM links. The transceivers are especially useful for MMF applications.
The transceivers are used for both telecommunication and data communication applications.
