    The Better Business Bureau serving the Atlanta metro area, Athens, Ga., and northeast Georgia honored Foundation Financial Group as first runner-up in its 2011 Torch Awards category for marketplace ethics.

    Held May 19 at Villa Christina in Atlanta, John Sours, administrator for the Governor's Office of Consumer Protection, gave the keynote address. Twenty-nine companies competed for Torch Awards in the categories of Marketplace Ethics, Customer Service and Community Service. Companies competed in the three categories based on their number of employees. Each year, a three-person panel of experts in marketplace ethics judges the Torch Award entries.
