June 20, 2009 - The National Association of Consumer Bankruptcy Attorneys (NACBA) announced today that Carmen Dellutri will serve as its State Chair for the Middle and Northern districts of Florida.
NACBA is the only national organization dedicated to serving the needs of consumer bankruptcy attorneys and protecting the rights of consumer debtors in bankruptcy. NACBA serves more than 4,000 members in all 50 states and Puerto Rico. As the Middle and Northern districts of Florida State Chair for NACBA, Mr. Dellutri will serve as a liaison between NACBA and attorneys, bankruptcy judges and other court officials, as well as serving as a primary contact for local media regarding consumer bankruptcy issues.
NACBA President Carey Ebert said: “We are very excited about expanding our mission of helping to protect the rights of families in financial distress to a grassroots level with or State Chairs and hope that they can help correct the misperception that bankruptcy relief is no longer available to the public.”
Commenting on his new position, Mr. Dellutri said: “I’m honored by this appointment, especially at such a challenging time. Many Floridians are overburdened with consumer debt, much of which stems from serious health issues, job loss, divorce, natural disaster, or some combination of such calamities. Good people often need extraordinary help to recover fully. Distressed consumers believe bankruptcy no longer provides the fresh start their families need and deserve. That’s just not true. NACBA is expanding its efforts to foster relief for these people, and to assist the brave lawyers who help them. We’re pleased to serve this cause in Florida.”
Mr. Dellutri is a Board certified Consumer Bankruptcy Attorney; and he is also one of the funding members of BankruptcyLawNetwork.com. He is a graduate of Loyola University School of Law. Mr. Dellutri was admitted to the New Jersey Bar in 1993 and the New York Bar in 1994. He also received his Master of Laws (LL. M.) degree from Tulane University School of Law in 1994. Mr. Dellutri became a member of The Florida Bar in 1995. After entering private practice, Mr. Dellutri received his Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree from Florida Gulf Coast University in 1999.
