Former UFC Champ Liddell Reveals Plans To Regain Title To Fighters Only Magazine

UFC former Champion Chuck Liddell comments on his plans to regain the UFC Light Heavyweight title in an exclusive 6-page interview in Issue 2 of Fighters Only US edition, on newsstands 24th March.

(1888PressRelease) March 26, 2009 - Liddell won the title in 2005 and successfully defended it four times.

Liddell comments:

“I want to get that title back and that’s always been my goal. Since I started this thing I’ve been out to prove I’m the best 205lb fighter in the world and I’m still out to do that…I can beat anybody in that weight class…I’m dangerous for anybody.

Commenting on current title holder Rashad Evans, Liddell says:
“I don’t plan on letting him [Evans] stay champ for long.”
In the exclusive interview Liddell also addresses the issue of whether he's still a contender at 205lbs, what motivates him to keep fighting at 39 years of age, the changes he’s experienced fighting for the UFC for a decade and much more.

The full 6 page feature can only be read in issue 2 of the Fighters Only US edition, available in the US from Barnes and Noble, Borders, 7-Eleven, Walden Books, Hastings, Books-A-Million and many more.

Fighters Only was the world’s first monthly MMA and Lifestyle magazine launching in the UK in 2005. The launch of the US edition in February was accompanied by the simultaneous launch of a Canadian edition with a German edition available from April 2009.
