Fontbonne University Appoints New Member to Board of Trustees

  • (1888PressRelease) February 01, 2017 - ST. LOUIS- Fontbonne University has named Juli Niemann to its Board of Trustees. Niemann is an alumna and long-time supporter of the university.

    "We are thrilled to add Juli to our board of trustees," said Dr. J. Michael Pressimone, Fontbonne president. "Her unique perspective as an alumna and business professional will surely support our existing leadership team and advance new ideas and efforts."

    Niemann graduated from Fontbonne in 1968 with bachelor's degrees in history and economics with minors in theology and philosophy. After graduating, she began a successful career in finance, which has spanned over 40 years. Currently, Niemann is the executive vice president of Smith Moore, where she has worked for 11 years. Niemann is involved at Fontbonne and in the community. She is a previous member of Fontbonne's Council of Regents, a committee that builds relationships between Fontbonne and St. Louis businesses and community organizations. She has been involved with numerous charitable organizations over the years, co-authored a book and served as a financial expert on local media outlets.

    Fontbonne University is a Catholic coeducational institution of higher education offering liberal arts and professional programs, as well as evening and online formats for adult learners.
