November 03, 2009 - The International Academy of Visual Arts has presented Finn Digital LLC (www.finndigital.com) with a 2009 W3 Silver Award in the Web Marketing’s Email category for its weekly newsletter, the Finn Digital “Hot Sheet”.
The W3 Awards honors outstanding websites, web marketing, and web videos created by interactive agencies and marketing professionals worldwide, and is the first major competition to be accessible to agencies of all sizes, both nationally and internationally. The awards are organized by the International Academy of Visual Arts, whose members include executives from organizations such as Brandweek, Disney, HBO, Monster.com, Wired, and Yahoo.
Finn Digital developed the weekly email newsletter in October of 2008 to share top online marketing tips, applications, and the latest web innovations. Featuring five items per email, the Hot Sheet gives newsletter readers quick-hits of information and online resources that can be instantly useful for work and home, with options to share the content across social media. The email newsletter has an average open rate of 48.7% and an average click-through rate of 35.6%.
This is the second award Finn Digital has won for its email newsletter. The company won a 2009 Bell Award in the Newsletters category from the Business Marketing Association in Milwaukee.
