September 18, 2009 - Hollywood, FL - As the manufacturers of high quality casual furniture, Pride Family Brands will proudly unveil a Fine Wrought Iron Furniture collection from its Summer Winds brand for the 2010 leisure season. The debut, which occurs during the International Casual Furniture Market, is the result of a year-long focus by Pride on building the brand.
"The Summer Winds brand has seen substantial growth during what has been a challenging year for many lines," said Jamie Lowsky, CEO of Pride Family Brands. "With this growth, we recognized a need to grow the offering to meet the increased retailer and consumer demand." Nearly 250 new introductions with an entire collection of fine Wrought Iron Furniture will be on display for the first time during the internationally attended market.
The introductions, including the Wrought Iron Furniture collection, have been the result of extensive work by the Pride organization sourcing manufacturers and designers. Previously, the Summer Winds collection was offered in aluminum and steel only. "We sought to create a product offering that meets our company's strict construction specifications as well as the value-conscious demands of today's consumers," said Rory Rehmert, vice president of sales and marketing for Pride Family Brands. "We dedicated a great deal of time and travel to further build upon an already successful brand."
Collections include dining and deep seating pieces with intricate aluminum, steel and wrought iron detailing as well as comfort cushioned and sling seating options. Selections within the collections boast traditional and contemporary stylings.
The introductions come at a time when the Pride Family Brands permanent showroom within Chicago's Merchandise Mart is relocating and expanding to provide this brand and its Castelle lines with enhanced display room. Prior to the relocation, the Pride showroom housed a selection from the Summer Winds brand that encompassed only 1,000 square feet of display. For the 2010 collections, the allocation of space will be increased by 100%.
Pride Family Brands and Summer Winds will be located on the 17th floor of Chicago's Merchandise Mart in showroom # 1747.
