According to author’s publicist, the book is a unique in this genre and an effective theory for the ailing economy of the nations. It generally deals with various problems of Administration and nation building. Most probably an ideal formula is explored to save ailing economy of America today.
The first chapter of the book talks in detail about the politics and economic relationship, then it slowly moves to various grass root level problems today various nations facing and it argues how to rebuild the rotten socio-political system. By and large this book resembles Artha Sasthra of Chanakya and Famous work of Machiavelli. However the book deals with contemporary problems while the former two books of the above-mentioned authors and statesmen deals with feudalistic society. The Philosophy of Governance by V Bright Saigal deals with democratic society and its problems, poverty, war and grass root level power sharing for the total welfare of the society.
This book is relevant more than any of its contemporaries because of its argument for the survival and protection of individual freedom, social welfare, law and order and sound economic system. The book clearly mentions how to re-build an ailing system.

The Philosophy of Governance
In a system every one should get maximum benefits out of governance, that is every individual’s right. This should be the philosophy of governance. The functioning of the government should resemble that of a human body, a total co-ordination of every selfless organ. Philosophy and empty promises will not fill an empty stomach, but following through on the promises of satisfaction shall be a fulfilling food. False propaganda will not bear fruit, but ploughed land and hard work will garnish enough crops to feed the masses. Rights cannot be harvested unless the sense of duty is dutifully invested. Unless the sense of responsibility is honored the holiness of right is an empty promise. In the place it is honored there is prosperity, where there is not, it is a barren land.
