Indeed a search of popular Expedia.com shows the closest property to be 13 miles away, with room rates starting at $339 a night. "Our goal is to keep the Final Four pure and attainable for all fans, students & alumni. While the superbowl is 90% corporate, the Final Four is still a fans event"
Travis must be right. With two weeks to go EVENTHOTELROOMS.com has already sold over 50% of their inventory and calls and emails continue to stream in from around the country. "People are obviously embracing the concept, we have brought this event back to the average person. No one wants to pay $600 to stay at a Holiday Inn when they can stay at a comfort inn down the street and have $800 in their pocket"
