May 14, 2009 - Dormagen, Germany – ITSTH has released Easy2Sync for Files 1.34, an award-winning utility that makes it easy to synchronize the contents of two directory trees, drives or network shares. Whenever you have the same data on two computers (for example laptop and desktop) or stored in two places on the same computer, Easy2Sync for files is the easy and safe way to automatically transfer any changes.
The new version contains new task types, now allowing it to automatically copy TrueCrypt containers, e.g. during a backup job. This is a common problem, since TrueCrypt changes neither file date nor size when changing the contents. Thus these files usually are classified as "unchanged" by backup programs and skipped. Easy2Sync for Files not includes a new mode, specially designed for TrueCrypt to copy such files. This mode can be chained with other sync or copy tasks and support name filters to limit it to the desired files only.
Easy2Sync is currently used by private customers, computer administration professionals, companies, universities and governmental institutions from everywhere around the world to synchronize professional software projects, business files and data servers on computers, servers, notebooks and removable devices.
Easy2Sync for Files 1.34 runs under Windows 95/98/Me/NT/2000/XP/Vista. The Home Edition costs 39 US$, the Business Edition costs 59 US$ (offering more features).
