April 27, 2007 - Felician Village is a community-based, retirement residence continuing the 100+ year tradition of the Felician Sisters' commitment to care giving.

Felician Village leaders hired Gary Hubbell Consulting to assist them in their desire to launch and maintain a comprehensive, ongoing fund development program. The funding focus of the new development program will likely be on programs, services, equipment, and special projects to support the ongoing operation of the nursing home and related entities. Leaders anticipate the development program will grow steadily to include gifts from individuals, foundations, business, and other groups.

With Gary Hubbell Consulting’s guidance Village leaders will have outside expert opinion on which to base management decisions related to development program scope, structure, staffing, and resource requirements, and will begin to see the benefits of a new revenue stream to offset operating costs.
In addition to Hubbell’s work serving as counsel and coach to organizations across the country, he is an active author and speaker. His independent research resulted in the publication of his first book, Forces of Change: The Coming Challenges in Hospital Philanthropy (Association of Healthcare Philanthropy, 2005).
