June 15, 2007 - In interviewing associates in our business the other day I stumbled upon a wonderful idea. Now this is a pretty awesome idea but it is one that I got from all the interviewing I was accomplishing in the name of “Father’s Day.”
I asked our Team recently just what were they buying and/or doing for their fathers on Father’s Day this Sunday. Most actually gave some creative answers. Some were giving little hands embedded in cement stepping stones with little hearts, some were driving quite a distance to see their aging fathers and some still didn’t have any idea what they were going to be doing.
I did get one absolutely terrific idea from an associate. I was quite touched since it was HUGE! Our partner is actually buying a business for his father. The brothers and sisters of this Dad are getting together to buy him an online business. Now they each only have to come up with $249.25 for their father to get started on probably the best financial journey he’ll ever be on. But they said he is worth it. One sister is working the business and helping Dad get started.
Dad has a little computer experience and readily admits proudly that he can send and receive e-mails which is all one needs to know to get into the business. He told them he has been getting bored and needed something to do. Well now he will.
Their father is in his 70’s and still active. He exercises and keeps his weight down and they told me he is not slowing down at all. They are excited that Dad will be able to add several thousands of dollars to his account and he will probably travel some back to Italy at some point, where his ancestors came from.
So, what is this business that 4 wonderful siblings are giving their Dad? It is a business that can be passive or proactive depending on the amount of effort one wants to give. It is easy to set up and get started. In fact there is a single Mom in our group earning a comfortable $1994.00 per day. This lady started in February of this year.
