April 23, 2007 - Small enough to fit into the palm of a hand, World Tracker GPRS provides users with real-time updates every fifteen seconds via a direct GPRS data connection. Using detailed 3D maps from Microsoft and Google, users can pinpoint the location of the device anywhere in the world.
With Tracking the World’s optional hibernating battery pack, the World Tracker GPRS will operate for weeks completely unattended. The new battery pack significantly conserves battery power by using motion detection. Extending battery life up to 90 days, the pack requires rechargeable lithium-ion batteries, and automatically powers down after 5 minutes of sensing no motion.
