As a child, Sam was entranced with images of glamour in fashion magazines, TV and shopping malls. At age 15, she designed and made a dress out of remnants from an old curtain. At that moment, she decided on her life's work: to become a courtier and redefine the fashion world with her passion, simplicity and elegant design.
The genius behind Sam's passion for bridal wear came from a simple black and white wedding cake. As a result, Chic Bridal Designs and the label Apple Xam was born. Chic Bridal Designs is an innovative Design Company that is filled with imagination and creativity, sure to make any bride blush with beauty in her elegant gown. Sam's original focus was custom made gowns but has since launched the brand Apple Xam to reach a broader market.
Since her childhood, Sam has brought those glamorous dreams to life in a collection that is sure to captivate the fashion world. In anticipation of the release of Grace Spring Collection 2009, we are honored to grace the runway in this year's Tampa Bay Runway Show on Friday, September 26, 2008 7:00 pm at the Coliseum in St. Petersburg, Florida.
While Fashion Weeks are held in cities across the country, we are especially proud to participate in Tampa Bay Fashion Week as this event will focus on community involvement. Net proceeds will be donated to Best Buddies of Tampa, an organization dedicated to enhancing the lives of people with intellectual disabilities and also to the YWCA of Tampa Bay, a group which strives to create opportunities for women's growth, leadership and power.
