Family Travelers Feel the Crunch of New Airline Baggage Restrictions

Family Travelers are having a hard time this summer as airlines change their baggage allowan policies. Just how do you get through the airport with a cart full of car seats, strollers, toys, play pens and the baby.

(1888PressRelease) July 05, 2008 - As airlines tighten their baggage allowance policies, there are new services to help family travelers cope with the crunch. Just how does a family get through the airport with a baby, a car seat, a stroller, a play pen and a diaper bag brimming with a week’s worth of baby supplies? They don’t.

One Tiny Suitcase in Calgary helps stressed out parents by renting the latest in baby gear and providing travelling families with all the comforts of home.

Family travel can be tough, so airlines are encouraging the use of baby equipment rental services like One Tiny Suitcase. Westjet’s website says, “A great alternative to carrying all of your kid gear on the flight is renting the latest in car seats, strollers and other equipment in the city you are visiting.”

One Tiny Suitcase, Calgary’s premier baby equipment rental company provides family travelers with all the baby-necessities at a fraction of the cost of excess baggage fees. Car Seats, Cribs and Strollers can be delivered to hotels or waiting at the arrivals gate in the airport. They can even stock the hotel room with a supply of organic baby food, formula and diapers! Equipment rentals start as low as $5/day.

Stacey Corbett, owner of One Tiny Suitcase says, “Travelling with a baby can be stressful enough. Not having what you need when you get to your destination just adds to it.”

Trip Advisor also recommends this service, “You can rent baby equipment — infant car seats, strollers, playpens, high chairs — from… One Tiny Suitcase, which will deliver supplies to the airport or your accommodations, or you can pick up equipment from their location just off of the Trans-Canada Highway in NW Calgary.”

One Tiny Suitcase has been profiled in Calgary Inc. Magazine, on CTV Globe Media’s CareersTv, and Stacey Corbett has appeared on Global TV’s Morning Show with tips to help parents prepare for travelling with a baby over the holidays. For more information please contact:
