The website highlights the facility’s structured program, beautiful grounds, and caring staff.
Family of Friends, Inc. is an assisted living facility (ALF) for adult men living with mental illness. Located on 5 acres in Sanford, FL, the facility comfortably houses 14 males and provides 24 hour care and support to its residents. Residents live an independent lifestyle in a group home setting surrounded by their peers. Residents participate in the Central Florida community through developmental classes, regular employment, and social and recreational activities. Activities include, but are not limited to, basketball, swimming and trips to amusement parks and local springs.
Family of Friends, Inc. is currently seeking new residents. The ideal resident is male, between the ages of 18-65, and living with a mental illness. Applications can be found on the facility’s website.
