June 27, 2008 - Fairmont Designs announced the addition of Steve York to the Residential Furniture team as Vice President of Product Development. Mr. York is an industry veteran with over 20 years of product development experience at Schnadig. His impressive reputation and extensive knowledge in design and trends will be extremely valuable to the company

Prior to joining Fairmont Designs, part of Mr. York’s responsibility was to monitor the industry trends closely and work directly with designers to unveil fresh and exciting products. He ensured that his best knowledge was shared with the retailers, thus maintaining close relationship with them was one of his vital roles. He was also responsible in directing product development, securing a smooth and accelerated process.
